    I looked up my phone on the Verizon website, it said MicroUSB Charger. I was concerned about the other reviewers saying it really wasn't what it was supposed to be, but I bought it anyway.

    The other reviewers that rated it poorly just bought the wrong one... If your phone uses a MiniUSB, don't buy a MicroUSB and complain that it's not as advertised... make sure your phone uses a "MicroUSB" charger and not some other kind, like a "MiniUSB" charger.

  • Comment: DON'T BUY THIS CHARGER! this charger is advertised on amazon as having the mini-usb connection that my phone requires to charge. the problem is that this unit in fact does NOT have a mini-usb connection. it has a MICRO usb connection. these are, of course, different. i cannot charge my phone with this thing. if you are looking for a charger with a mini usb connection, do not be fooled like i was - this charger will not work for you either. in addition, the unit pictured is also different than how the unit appears. don't assume they just sent the wrong item - the charger that showed up carries the model number 89157J, which is what amazon calls it too.
